Why do I find triangles so intriguing. If it was circles I understand because they represent continual movement, eternity and all that. I suppose it is because I like getting from one point to the next and then the next without beating around the bush. I love walking on straight roads the most. Perhaps its because I don’t see a triangle in my everyday life. The world is mainly dominated by squares, rectangles, circles and other (perhaps) more complex geometrical shapes. It is when I see the near perfect triangle that something takes my breath away. There is a shape lover in all of us.

My architecture sketchbook. Nothing fancy.
A sketchbook comprised of some sketches, material testing and idea exploration. The first few initial pages were done in Edinburgh, Scotland. Some were observational drawings of buildings, others statues in the room full of ‘Jesus’ sculptures (which was interesting). Then the sketchbook goes onto different idea exploration with architecture, but like nearly always I tend to fall back to clay and nature. My comfort zone.
It’s nothing amazing but I hope you do enjoy.
Sorry that the music stops halfway. I am still getting used to editing videos in iMovie :)

Another Omega Project.
I did only a triangle shape initially on Google SketchUp and duplicated the triangle and rearranged it using Cinema 4D (where I also rendered it using global illumination and ambient occlusion - also created a soft box to add light to the scene). I find that trying to create a basic shape in Cinema 4D is quite difficult. However, using a program which is easy and fast to use like Google SketchUp is also helpful.
Inspired by ‘Love Triangle’ and ‘Omega Code’
